Update on Arrhythmias & Syncope: June 11

The U-M Update on Arrhythmias & Syncope course will take place Saturday, June 11, 2016 at The Inn at St. John’s, in Plymouth, Michigan. This course will be particularly relevant to cardiologists, internists, family physicians, and other health care providers managing patients with cardiac arrhythmias.

Cardiac arrhythmias, particularly atrial fibrillation, affect many patients and are a common clinical problem encountered in daily practice. However, as a result of recent advances in basic and clinical research and development of new technology, our understanding of the mechanisms of arrhythmias and management strategies rapidly evolve.

The goal of this course is to present and discuss recent advances in the management of cardiac arrhythmias with primary care physicians, internists, and cardiologists. This course has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, AOA Category 2A Credits, and AAFP Prescribed Credits.
