TRAUMA BURN COMMUNITY EVENT JUNE 5 AT ORCHARD

The Burn Injury Awareness Walk and Safety Education Fair and Picnic takes place on Sunday, June 5 at Wiard’s Orchard, located at 5565 Merritt Road, Ypsilanti.

Rally your family, friends and colleagues to participate in this special community event focused on increasing burn awareness, celebrating the recovery of survivors, promoting education, preventing burn injuries, and gathering together for fun and fellowship. 

The family-friendly event will include games and activities for all ages. LIVE music by Zander Michigan; Fire truck; Survival Flight helicopter fly-in; Petting zoo; Miniature golf; Hugging and loving on therapy dogs; Face painting; Moonwalk; Giant Slide; Sports and playground areas; Visiting a working orchard/farm; Dancing with Sparky the Fire Safety Dog; Meeting firefighters; Free prizes; and Fun safety fair booth activities!
