The Medical School will host a conference on “Accountable Graduate Medical Education (GME): Linking GME to High-Value Health Care” on May 23-24 at the Michigan League and Biomedical Science Research Building.

The May 23 program will focus on harnessing GME for high-value care, while the May 24 program will examine interprofessional education (IPE) — partnering among GME, undergraduate medical education and other professions to enhance the value of care.

The conference is open to all, but registration is required. Target audiences include: program directors, designated institution officials (DIOs), and education leaders from academic medical centers across the Midwest; trainees, learners and program coordinators; and other stakeholders that are dealing with linkages between GME and health care (e.g. IPE, payers, governmental representatives, etc.)
