Workshop: How to Be Successful as a New Faculty Member

These quarterly sessions are intended as a follow-up to the monthly New Faculty Orientation.  Orientation gave you the information you needed on your first day.  In this session, there will be specific focus on expectations for advancement and career planning. Other faculty will share their stories around their career trajectories including milestones and stumbling blocks to avoid.  You will learn about mentoring resources and even have the chance to connect with senior mentors over lunch!

Intended Audience: Medical School faculty who have been within the organization for at least 3-6 months

Why: Introduction to numerous resources that will further support faculty’s development and meet senior mentors

When: Thursday, June 9, 2016

Time: 8:00AM – 12:30PM (Breakfast and lunch provided)

Where: Biomedical Science Research Building (BSRB) Seminar Rooms (1st floor)
