Plan to attend: 19th Annual Enriching Scholarship Conference

Registration for the 19th Annual Enriching Scholarship Conference, which runs May 2 through May 6, 2016, is now open!

During this award-winning conference, UMHS faculty and staff will have the opportunity to participate in more than 100 sessions about effectively integrating teaching and technology. Sessions include topics such as using the Canvas LMS, virtual reality and 3D printing, mobile development, cloud services like Box and Amazon, and more!

The kickoff event, which includes breakfast, takes place Monday, May 2 at 9 a.m. and features a poster fair highlighting the work of recipients of the annual U-M Teaching Innovation Prize, as well as CRLT’s Investigating Student Learning Grant teams. 


Barbara Oakley, Ph.D.

The keynote speaker is Barbara Oakley, Ph.D., a professor of engineering at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan and writer of national acclaim. Her research focuses on the complex relationship between neuroscience and social behavior. She also authored and co-teaches a Coursera MOOC titled “Learning How to Learn.”
