Plan ahead and expect delays: Street closures and events this weekend

Several events take place in Ann Arbor this weekend that will result in road closures. If you are scheduled to work or plan to just hang out downtown, be sure to plan ahead and expect delays.

Friday, April 1

  • FoolMoon – runs from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. – street closures as follows:
  • Noon – W. Washington from First to Main
  • 5 p.m. – S. Ashley from Liberty to the entrance of the parking lot at Ashley & Huron

*Streets are expected to reopen at 12:30 a.m.

Friday, April 1

  • U of M Spring Game at the stadium – begins at 6 p.m.

Saturday, April 2

  • Hash Bash on the Diag and Monroe Street Fair

Sunday, April 3

  • Ann Arbor Marathon – begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at approximately 2:30 p.m.
    • Race to begin at the Big House on Main Street with participants running to Liberty, to State, to North University to East University.
    • Race ends with participants running down South University to State to William, to Main, to the finish line in front of Palio.
    • Main from William to Liberty to be closed until approximately 3 p.m.
    • Expect delays throughout the course of the race.

Sunday, April 3

  • Festifools – runs from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. – street closures as follows:
    • 3 p.m. – Main Street from William to Washington
    • 3 p.m. – Liberty Street from Ashley to Fourth

*Streets are expected to reopen at approximately 6 p.m.
