Dean Woolliscroft to discuss why UMMS is “Better by Change, Not by Chance” (Dec.8)

On Dec. 8, Dean James O. Woolliscroft, M.D., will deliver his final presentation on the state of the Medical School, “Better by Change, Not by Chance,” at 5 p.m. in the D. Dan and Betty Kahn Auditorium of the A. Alfred Taubman Biomedical Science Research Building.

All members of the UMHS community are invited to a presentation highlighting Medical School accomplishments. In addition, Dean Woolliscroft will discuss how the University of Michigan’s ability to successfully navigate a decade of unprecedented change has allowed it to remain an elite academic medical center.

Following the presentation, Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs Marschall S. Runge, M.D., Ph.D., will make closing remarks.

A reception will follow at 6 p.m. in the Gilbert S. Omenn Atrium.
