Continue the diversity conversation at UMHS today

November 11, 2015  //  FOUND IN: Announcements

Do you feel comfortable in your workplace? Do your boss and co-workers respect your opinions and perspective? Does our health system and university represent you and your colleagues?

Make your voice heard at a special event for UMHS employees this Friday aimed to start the diversity conversation.

World Café
Friday, Nov. 13: 5-7 a.m./11 a.m. -1 p.m./ 5-7 p.m.
Towsley Dining Room, Towsley Center
Stop by one of three shifts for lively conversation and refreshments with health system colleagues. You can also join the conversation online.  Register to attend or connect remotely here.

Help your team members feel more included so they can do their best work! Your input can help make UMHS a better place for all of us to work, teach and learn.

Faculty, staff and students are all invited to attend the World Café event. Ideas shared will be forwarded to U-M President Mark Schlissel as he works to improve diversity at our university.

If you work in a remote location, cannot leave your unit, or would rather participate anonymously, sign up to join a discussion from your location via Adobe Connect. This option is available to individuals or to work groups.

Volunteers are also needed for the World Café event. Contact Denise Williams for info about helping to plan, facilitate or take notes.

Plan to be there and be heard!  Help everyone at U-M feel important and included.
