Help our neighbors in need: Give to United Way
Please join us in our proud tradition of giving by making a pledge to the 2015 University of Michigan United Way Campaign. With the generous support of faculty, staff and retirees, we believe we can achieve our $1.5 million dollar goal to help many of our community members in need.
Over the past year, the United Way has helped our neighbors with countless services like dental care, housing for the homeless, treatment for people struggling with substance abuse, and help with chores for people with disabilities. “Their stories are our stories” and together we can bring a brighter future to so many. Our gifts demonstrate the collective support of our community and help United Way agencies to be successful.
You can choose how to invest your pledge, either by giving to a United Way Community Investment Fund or by designating your gift to a non-profit organization you support.
To make your pledge, go to Wolverine Access and click on the ePledge link in the Announcement Section (upper right corner) of the Faculty & Staff page. Simply sign-in using your uniqname and UMICH password and make your pledge. Hard copy pledge forms are also available by visiting the U-M United Way campaign website.
All employees who make a pledge to the campaign between October 12 and December 31, 2015 are eligible for a campus-wide weekly prize drawing. Prizes are listed on the U-M United Way website. In addition, if you make a pledge of $1,000 or more, you become a member of the United Way Leadership Givers Association and will be invited to attend a Leadership Givers Reception hosted by President Mark Schlissel.
We, along with the United Way, thank you for your support.
