Dean Woolliscroft to discuss “Better by Change, Not by Chance” Dec. 8

On Dec.8, Dean James O. Woolliscroft, M.D., will deliver his final presentation on the state of the Medical School, “Better by Change, Not by Chance,” at 5 p.m. in the D. Dan and Betty Kahn Auditorium of the A. Alfred Taubman Biomedical Science Research Building.

During the past decade, the faculty, staff and students of the University of Michigan Medical School (UMMS) have been responsible for many achievements, and they also have experienced numerous challenges.The one constant during this time has been change.

All members of the UMMS community are invited to a presentation of past accomplishments and discussion on the future of academic medicine.

Following the presentation, Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs Marschall S. Runge, M.D., Ph.D., will make closing remarks.

A reception will follow at 6 p.m. in the Gilbert S. Omenn Atrium.
