Get your fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables right here at the University Hospital Courtyard today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The M Farmers Market takes place every Thursday through October 1. Flowers, potted plants, herbs and other farm products will also be available.
Purchases can be made with cash and credit/debit card.
The market is a partnership between UMHS, MHealthy and Planet Blue. Along with encouraging healthier food choices, the markets support the university’s commitment to offering sustainable, locally sourced foods. All produce is provided by local Michigan farms, with Zilke Vegetable Farm serving as the main source. Zilke, in Milan, Mich., is a family-owned and operated farm that does not use chemicals or pesticides.
