The Emergency Management Operations team has launched a new website featuring incident management policies, on call schedules, staffing information and more.

Staff response plans are available for various emergency incidents including system failures, facility response, clinical response, and IT/communications response.

Also featured are severe weather plans, safety and security plans and codes, planning resources, exercises and training programs, and schedules.  A useful acronyms section spells out some of the commonly used abbreviations for emergency management terms.

Note to Web Programmers: Please update your web links to this new site.

The purpose of Emergency Management Operations is to establish a preparedness and management program to provide a timely, integrated and coordinated response to the wide range of natural and manmade events that may disrupt normal operations and require pre-planned response to internal and external incidents.

The Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and individual response plans have been developed to respond to specific emergencies. The EOP covers the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers and also provides a community wide role in relation to local and state emergency response needs.
