Dean’s Office to honor Lisa Colletti with retirement reception (May 21)

The Medical School Dean’s Office will host a retirement reception for Lisa M. Colletti, M.D., at 4 p.m. May 21 in the Marvin and Betty Danto Auditorium of the Frankel Cardiovascular Center.

Colletti is retiring after nearly 25 years of service to the Medical School and Health System. She has served the past 12 years as associate dean and director for graduate medical education. She is also the C. Gardner Child Professor of Surgery and chief of the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery.

A Michigan “lifer,” Colletti earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan, and also completed her surgical internship and residency here before joining the faculty in 1991.

Her colleagues and friends are invited to attend and wish her well in retirement.
