Faculty, staff invited to celebrate at April 1 Appreciation Breakfast, Dinner Buffet

Come join U-M Health System leadership for our annual Employee Appreciation Breakfast and Dinner Buffet this Wednesday, April 1 in the University Hospital Cafeteria.

UMHS leaders will serve breakfast from 6:30–9 a.m. for midnight and dayshift employees and dinner from 6–8 p.m. for afternoon shift employees. Please stop by for free food and a chance to network and celebrate with your teams.

This year’s event is hosted by:

• Marschall Runge, M.D., Ph.D., executive vice president for medical affairs, U-M

• Tony Denton, acting chief executive officer and chief operating officer, UMHHC

• James O. Woolliscroft, M.D., dean, U-M Medical School

• Kathleen Potempa, Ph.D., dean, U-M School of Nursing

• Members of the senior management teams of the Hospitals, Health Centers, Medical School and School of Nursing

Additionally, UMHS leaders will attend a number of receptions throughout April where they will visit and provide meals to faculty and staff at off-site locations.

To be served, please be sure to wear your Health System ID badge.

Breakfast:

  • Egg frittata (choice of bacon or vegetarian)
  • Light & Fit Yogurt (Vanilla or Strawberry)
  • Muffin (choice of blueberry or bran)
  • Fresh fruit (choice of apple or orange)
  • Beverage (choice of apple or orange juice or water)
  • Coffee (regular or decaf) and hot tea

Dinner:

  • Choice of chicken or Eggplant Parmesan served with Pasta (Gluten free pasta available on request)
  • Caesar salad with Caesar dressing
  • Garlic breadstick
  • 2 cookies
  • Beverage (choice of sugar-free lemonade or water)
  • Coffee (regular or decaf) and hot tea

For units wanting to pick up orders to go, please contact Pat Mowry by Tuesday, March 31.  You must have a minimum of five orders to be considered for this option. Orders may be picked up in dining rooms C&D. Please bring a cart or people from your team to help carry orders.
